Both players have had good games this postseason, but both have had real bad ones. Should Brookbank see some ice time in the near future?

Even with all the distaste I have in Rozsival's game.....Brookbank isn't even a better option than HIM.

It seemed like Rozsival and Oduya were on the ice for the entire Game 4.

Duncs and Hammer were out there for the most time, followed by those two. Seabs only played like 12 minutes. And he didn't look overly great when he was out there. Only down side is that means Leddy is out there less, and he is a playmaker for this team.

I maintain I still do not want Brookbank out there unless an injury comes up.... but Rozival should see like 6 minutes of Ice time a game.... Leddy can play more, just interlace him with the other 4 D men.... Rozival makes too many mistakes in our zone.... and while I am bitching.... Oduya retreats like a French infantry company from a Nazi Panzer column everytime he gets the puck.... as soon as he gets it he starts running away towards Crawford.... it does not worry me with our other D men, but with butterfingers Rozival as Oduyas only outlet when he retreats it has caused us enough problems to worry about it.

Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook 26m a piece...
Hjalmerson and Leddy 21m a piece...
Rozival and Oduya 13m a piece...

I cant stand Rozival in the offensive zone... lets the puck out of the zone constantly and once he even took it out of the zone during a perfect cycle and unchallenged...

for game seven I expect TOI to be as posted above...

Agreed.... I feel Oduya is similar near his own zone.... he will walk the puck in to his own zone and the other team attacks.... and I feel he does it when he does not need to in many cases.

I love this forum. If it were in charge of the Hawks, Quennville would have been fired at the end of the regular season, Carcillo would have replaced Kane, and Brookbank would have been paired with Seabrook on the #1 defensive line. Great stuff in retrospect.

Wait a minute, who said Carcillo should replace Kane?

Rozi has been pretty damn good this playoff run. Same with Oduya.

Brookbank made one game. You saw how that worked out.

Really think that Roszival has been a solid player this whole postseason. Not great, but definitely quality minutes from a bottom pairing Dman.

Didn't Reoszival lead all hawk D in toi in the Min series? He's done a fabulous job cleaning up Leddy's messes.
