Could it be welcome back for the Honduran midfielder who previous played for not only the Chicago Fire but also DC United, San Jose Earthquakes and Colorado Rapids? And could such a move to Chicago mean Marco Pappa’s much rumored exit may be imminent? There is some question however as to whether Guerrero would be playing for the Fire or working with them in some other capacity as alluded to below.
According to the front page of the sports sections down in Honduras, an MLS return for Guerrero (and specifically to the Chicago Fire) seems possible.
Here is a Spanish to English translation of an article on Diez.hn
Ivan Guerrero leaves Motagua. His destination is the United States.
Ivan Guerrero of Motagua is dismissed and was done so silently. The experienced left side of 33 years sent a statement to the board announcing he will leave blue team for personal reasons.
A credible source assured Diez that Guerrero has offers to work with the Chicago Fire of MLS, where he had an outstanding performance, although this time it would be as a partner of a minor league club.
According to the source, Guerrero is considering whether to continue playing as long there is and open possibility in the MLS.

Don't trust source, but this would help create some depth for the club with him playing for the Reserves.

I loved Ivan. Great guy and a credible player. I am unsure of the role he's coming in as, nor how advanced the talks are, but there has been contact from what I understand.

Giaco, do you get your info from a website or from relations with the Fire themselves?
