I just uploaded the show. It's on the front page an iTunes.

Talk about LeBron and his back-stabbing of Cleveland. The fact that he did a show to tear the hearts of Cleveland fans out was a disgrace.

The Heat will win the next few titles. The only team that could challenge them as of now is LA. And really only next season because Kobe and Artest are getting older.

LeBron will NEVER be considered better than Jordan. Even if he wins 5 titles in Miami. That's Wade's team and, as Barkley has said, piggybacking on Wade doesn't help his legacy.

I do give JR credit for spending on Boozer. I thought the Bulls would not get anyone in FA because I felt JR wouldn't spend top-dollar on a 2nd tier FA like Johnson, Boozer or Lee. He did and I give him credit.

The Bulls will win the Central division. Raise the banner for the 2010-2011 Central champs B)

Lebron is in a bad situation. I don't believe he will EVER get the respect he would have gotten had he stayed.

That said. The true winner is Wade. Does anyone believe he really wanted to come to Chicago? He will get a boost and Lebron will defer to him. Wade might get an MVP out of the deal.

Carmen DeFalco went on Mike and Mike this morning and let Wade have it for his "crocodile tears"...

I agree Hou. I also mention you on the show. How when the last time you were on we talked about how it would be a good idea for the Thunder to get Durant locked in now, and not gamble that the new CBA would result in a smaller max deal. Pay Durant the money now and get him locked in.

I talk about that on this episode too.

70? Not a hope in hell the first season. They're not going to run LeBron/Wade/Bosh into the dirt during the regular season.

They could do 70. Depends on who they get on the roster to fill out. Who's willing to play for the min.

Think about it Shakes, if LBJ can lead a team with Mo Williams, West, Wallz Z, Sideshow and Big Z to 66 wins, how many do you think he can win with Wade and Bosh?

I don't think they'll break the Bulls' record. It's gonna be pretty damn hard to go 73-9. But I think they can win 70.

The interior defense is going to be pretty bad though. I still think Orlando beats them as they'll have no answer for Howard. I think it's going to be interesting in the last 5 minutes of the game since all of these guys are use to having the ball in their hands at the end of the game.

That Cavs squad is obviously less talented, but it's a hell of a lot better balanced than Miami will be.

There's no interior defense at all on that Miami team. With Wade & LeBron they wont be awful defensively, but it's tough to see them as being any better than average.

So average defense plus a desire to rest your stars for the playoffs, I say 60 wins max. And that's assuming Wade stays healthy, which he has only done two out of the last four years.

By the way, the 04-05 Suns are, as far as I can tell, the only team ever to win 60+ games while ranking in the lower half of the league on defense. Everyone's so caught up in what an offensive powerhouse LeBron/Wade/Bosh is that they're forgetting about the other side of the court. Sure LeBron and Wade are good defenders, but without a defensive big your defense is toast. Remember that Bosh was on the worst defensive team in the league last year.

they have good to decent perimeter defenders.

in terms of macth ups

we dont suck.

we did loose the best wade defender, but rose isn't significantly worse than wade. Boozer isn't significantly worse than bosh, and if we keep the deng v lebron close, and win noah v b-easy and chalmers v ?, we're not gonna be terrible.

Health is a concern, that is true. Wade and Bosh have missed lots of time in the past Has either guy played a full 82?

And the interior D could be an issue. But it will work itself out. This team is going to be tough to beat.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I actually just listened to the show. It seems like you're disappointed with Boozer. Yeah we lost Hinrich and Gordon and whoever else, but at the end of the day, we're a better team. We can still get a shooter or two with 18 million left in cap space. I still say it was worth the effort because you never could have known that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh were conspiring with each other from the beginning. They all put up a great charade of being genuinely interested in other teams and ended smacking them all in the face (goes double for LeBron and Cleveland). And we were considered the front runners to land one of those guys and I think that if they didn't want to play together, we might have one of them. Oh well. Now I guess we try to make some kind of anti-Heat team that can at least compete in a game with them.

I'm fine with Boozer. I'm happy they git him because I thought JR would not pay top dollar for him so I'm happy.

I just think we could of had him without a year of clearing cap space.

But this is coming from my belief - a belief that it's stupid to plan for free agency because it's not guaranteed.

I didn't think the Bulls would get Wade or LBJ, and they didn't. No one else on the FA list was worth planning a year or 2 years in advance for.

But I'm happy with Boozer at the end of the day.

This made me giggle at the irony of you being a guy who is a gambler (or at least someone who likes to check the odds) but doesn't like going for the risky move. I've never placed a bet on anything in my life, and I'm all for clearing everyone out and going for it. Funny how that works out.

The interesting thing about this year's FA is that there's that much talent out there even the consolation prizes like Boozer and Amare are pretty damn good. We might see the big 4 FA teams (Heat/Bulls/Knicks/Nets) all improve a dozen wins or more next year. I think if the second prize after LeBron was Drew Gooden I'd have been a little more circumspect about throwing away players for a shot.

That is funny isn't it.

It reminds me of a line from Clerks where Randal wants to go to a funeral of a classmate that died. Dante says "you hate people." Randal "but I love gatherings, isn't it ironic."

The thing with Boozer is, I'm fine with him. We were a good rebounding team, now we'll be great. But Boozer was someone that could have been acquired without a bunch of maneuvering.

But it doesn't matter anymore. I'm looking forward to this team. Now the Bulls might get Redick too. Good to see the Bulls making moves.
