Yeah, kind of like how spending $80 on a watch is worthwhile investment for a runner who is just starting out.

or how posting 20 times about how it wasn't a good idea is a worthwhile start to the morning.

What time does your lazy ass get up?

My mornings don't "start" at 10:45.

I don't care how you spend your money. I was just letting you know you wasted some. You being dumb has no bearing on my life, other than to entertain me.

i'm glad i can entertain you. feel like i've accomplished something now...been a good morning

Pretty much this.

Iuse a watch I bought at Wal-Mart for $10.

Calorie counters and GPS watches are generally shit.

You could have saved yourself a lot of fucking money by just using google maps pedometer to map runs, buying a cheap watch, and controlling calories otherwise.
I use my cell phone, because it also doubles as my IPod. I don't even care about the calorie counting. I actually drive my routes to make sure I have a more accurate mileage. Phone is useful bc I can save my times. Other than that, the gps is on and off too much for me.

If anyone wants some damn good running shoes, get the new Nike Flyknit series shoes.

The Racer ones are more for distance runners, the Trainer+ ones with nike+ are more for your average runner.

I picked up the Trainer+, got them today, really lightweight and I tested them out, love them so far.

Meh. Nikes have been poop for running IMO for about the last 4 year or so.

I'm going to keep these but if they don't turn out as well as I think they will, I'll try out the Asics.
