It looks like he was 9-19 when opponents scored 18 points or more.

Were Brady and Rodgers playing with an all time top few defense their first few years & topped off with a great ground and pound running game?

Wilson isn't close to Brady, Rodgers or P. Manning level

Obviously...he's a 3rd year pro...the above QB's each have 10+ years in the league.

Maybe to do an apples to apples comparison I'd also say that Brady, Rodgers and Peyton at age 26-27 were worse than Brady, Rodgers and Peyton in their prime...

For fun, here you go:

Rodgers:
26 – 103.2 rating (Pro Bowl)
27 – 101.2 rating (SB winner)
Lifetime – 106.0 rating

Manning:
26 – 88.8 rating (Pro Bowl)
27 – 99.0 rating (Pro Bowl)
Lifetime – 97.5 rating

Brady:
26 – 85.9 rating (SB winner)
27 – 92.6 rating (SB winner) (Pro Bowl)
Lifetime – 95.9 rating

So since Wilson is entering the seson where he'll be 27 year old season I'll give his 24, 25 and 26 (every year he's been in the league):

24 - 100.0 rating (probowl)
25 - 101.2 ratings (SB winner)(probowl)
26 - 95 ratings (Lost in Superbowl)
Lifetime - 98.6 rating

Fair enough

Adding to that comment, who would you rather give a massive 6 year franchise QB too? Would it be Brady, Rodgers or Peyton in the season that they are turing 27 or would it be the 35+ year old guys we are seeing today?

Andrew Luck over Wilson without a moments hesitation.

To more directly answer your question though, I would rather sign Rodgers to a 4-5 year contract of that size right now, than Wilson.

Brady 37
Manning 39
Rodgers 31
Wilson 26

I would easily feel the most comfortable giving Rodgers a massive 6 year deal.

I do not think Manning will play 6 more years.

I would be afraid to give Wilson a deal despite his early success.

I would like to speak directly with the cheater prior to offering him a 6 year deal.

I don't think anyone is saying Wilson is better than Luck. I think they are both in the same contract conversation through.

Rodgers should get the 4-5 year contract over Wilson, but I'd also ask can Seattle get Rodgers? Is there a trade or might he be a FA where Seattle can pick him up?

Can't change the questions after you ask them and don't like the answer. Would Seattle make that trade?......

Of course they would. Any team would.

Wait, one team wouldn't and that Green Bay (and maybe Indy based on Luck's age), because they don't have to give up anything to get Rodgers.

He's the best QB in the league in the prime of his career. Every single team in the NFL would want him.

Wilson had the worst season of his career last year. Running QBs don't get better and tend to age poorly given their dependence on physical attributes. Wilson being in the league three years doesn't really matter at this point because he isn't getting better, and I doubt he outlasts Rivers/Ben/Rodgers/Romo as starters.

What has Roders won lately? The defense was really good the year they won.

lol. I guess as a Bears fan you are spoiled by your QB winning enough games to get to the playoffs nearly every year. And all of the SB victories.

Rodgers is 70-33 in regular season and 6-5 in the playoffs. What is your point?
