doubt he stays past the 9 game mark

im guessing he is taking stalbergs spot till he is healthy again

I imagine he is going to get every chance to prove himself through those first 9 games (or maybe just when Smith/Stalberg come back). A first line of Saad/Toews/Sharp would not surprise me one bit. Still need to get him under an entry level contract (last time I heard atleast) and he is still a long shot to stick with the team for the full year, but crazier things have happened.

He earned that. Now the question is whether he stays when Smith and Stalberg come back and if he does stay, who goes down? Smith and Stalberg play different games. Both have gotten a lot better this summer. It would be a tough choice.
