Well the salary cap is bigger for everyone. Free agency is a game of relativity, I guess those with mountains of cap room are probably moderate losers and those are really up against it (Bears were never one of those teams) are moderate winners, but generally speaking this affects most teams in the NFL the same way. More money to spend across the board just means the contracts will be presumably larger, but still small enough that it is an intriguing time to cut some guys and replace them with better value.

I still think everyone should set some very low expectations as far as obtaining any free agents. I’d be surprised with any initial big or moderate signings. We just need to fast forward to dumpster dive season and the draft.
Maybe something moderate at WR if something doesn’t get done with AR.

To me, it is keeping Graham at TE for one more season (maybe working out an extension for one more), working out a competitive deal for AR, and bringing back Trubisky on a relatively modest 2-3 year "prove-it" deal. Graham/Kmet is not a bad TE combo, and AR/Mooney is a good 1-2 at receiver.
