So my Sprint phone upgrade is coming up on Saturday and I am trying to decide between the Galaxy S III and the Note II. Wanted to get some of you techies opinion on them and if you have had experience with either phone.

What are the Pro's/Con's to each phone? Battery life is a big factor to me and from the specs it looks as if the Note has a significant edge, but the Note is bigger than the Galaxy and seems to be more of a mini tablet than a phone.

So what are your thoughts and do you have any suggestions outside of these two options? Also kinda want to avoid the iPhone but still open to getting one.

Battery = Galaxy, Note is awesome but quite large. Both have near frequency attribute so whichever you desire.

My iPhone is fantabulous.

The biggest reason iPhone isn't that high on my list is because with my scheduler what ever i setup on my phone it automatically updates on my Galaxy Tablet and then I can also synch it with my Samsung Smart TV and use it like a remote. I could be talked out of the Galaxy if the iPhone is significantly better, but I have been a big fan of the Samsung products.

Now you're crossing into phablet territory. Big difference.

Note II outperforms the S3 in nearly every area. The HTC DNA is in between, and also outperforms the S3(which means it crushes the iphone5 in the real world, except loses to the iphone5 in fantasy land where apple can not possibly be 2nd or in this case, pretty far behind for this point in a phone's lifespan.)

It sounds like you're all set up for the S3 already. The only person I know that has an S3 is my sister and she really likes but she doesn't use it to anywhere near its capabilities. I know more people with the iP5 and they also love it. My boss has one and uses it for everything from looking up weird porn to a lot of stuff to keep track of his business. He's been an iPhone convert since the 3GS, I think, and won't go back

And, I have an iPhone 4S that I really like. Just waiting for a few months to get the iPhone 5. I'm not getting into the apple vs everyone else argument but the reason I like the iPhone is because its really stable. The apps & features are all a wash in my opinion. The only thing I care about is if my phone works like its supposed to all the time & that's what my phone does. My girlfriend has a droid and likes it but it has a lot more glitchy weird problems. Just my 2 cents

I work at best buy and like others have said the note has the edge if the bigger size isn't of importance to you then go for the note.
