Teams don't just look at one year. Santos is the 22nd highest paid kicker in the league. They give him Pinero's money and he is at 1.5 million which is a little above average for the league. Now how much of that is Quinn eating up? If the Bears want him they have plenty to keep him. Even if they have to give him a million more which would put him in the top 10 which he hasn't really earned.
