So it sounds like you lease your cars...
Yes, 42 months. Salesguy called me and said since I had under 10K miles he could offer me a great deal. They ate the last 6 payments, cut my monthly, and gave me cash back all on a car that cost 7K more than the last one. Couldnt say no

So you put less than 10,000 miles on a 3 year old car?

What's the point of paying for a luxury car that you barely drive?

Because when I do drive I want to drive what I want. The guy that drives 40K per year could say the same to the guy that drives 20K. Or someone that has a vacation home they only visit twice a year

I had a '59 Chevy and a '72 Corvette that I drove a few times a year.

Other than that, I've always been fairly practical with my cars. Half because the thought of spending more than 25k on vehicle makes me nauseous, the other half doesn't like car payments. A V6 , a CD changer and the typical power stuff is all I need to make me happy. I don't need heated seats, GPSs, sunroofs........ or the legal issues that come with my lead foot sitting behind a 400hp+ engine.
