I dont think both Danks and Floyd will be gone, one of them for sure. Q is 100% gone and I doubt that will move Ohman and Crain or Thornton

Just as you asked, "Where is AJ going?"... I'd like to know how you know that a) Mark will command too much money and b) The Sox won't pay him?

Yeah buehrle is a hometown guy and a fan favorite

Theres a huge difference between AJ and Buehrle.

AJ isnt a free agent, Buehrle is. I also feel that Buehrle is more desireable than is AJ

I would love for the Sox to re-sign Buehrle but I dont think they will. The Sox will be looking to cut payroll. as early as yesterday KW was talking rebuilding, "I know for many of our fans that have grown accustomed to our trying to go out and get the biggest impact player that this will be a departure of sorts, But it's been 11 years; Eleven years of throwing haymakers and trying to get the best talent, most impactful talent out there. Sometimes there's a price to play, particularly when that doesn't translate into success with the players you've acquired. You take it on the chin and you keep moving and you might have to modify the way you do business for a couple of years until you get that foundation back together where you say, 'OK, now, if we had player X, Y or Z, now we have a championship goal again."

to me this quote says that hey will be looking to get "the foundation back together" by modifiying the way they do business. which would be spending less money, building a player base then in a couple years go for the big free agent who will complete the team

How do I know hes going to command more money than the Sox will pay him, I dont, its speculation, nobody knows not you, not me, not KW and not Buehrle. but im pretty sure a left-handed, world series winning pitcher with a perfect game, a no hitter and who has pitched 200+ innings won 10+ games and start 30+ games for 11 straight season will command a good deal of money on the open market.

but I could be wrong.
