So I'm stil 57k on the list, however, my friend got his number pulled and was invited to pick his seats online 11/10. The two of us are going in on two seats but we're completely knew to this so I have a few questions if anyone can help.

How does this process work with selecting seats online? Are there only certain ones to choose from as he just got his number drawn?

I've heard there is a relocation/upgrade event (or at least there was) later on after the down payment was secured so that has me wondering about the whole process.

Thanks guys.

My number was called as well. People are moving up the list fast because the Cubs have sucked so bad the past few years. There will be certain areas you can pick your seat from. The most desirable seats will not be available (i.e Field Box, Row 1, Aisle Seats). Not sure about the upgrade event but usually you have the option to upgrade your seats after the season is over.

What was your number when you started? I was #100,000 or so back when I signed up in 2007.

I was 93000 something last I checked, and now I am 63500 something. Is there any chance I move up a little more still this offseason? I signed up during last season

I mean if you moved up 30,000 spots in 1 year that's pretty good bro. And yes you can move up more if the people called don't come in to buy season tix.

My number is up also. I got on list about 13 years a go,was #157k, Im now like 36. I pick my seats on nov 6th. It really comes at a bad time for me though. Hate to pass them up, but financially I might not be able to swing it this yr.

Yeah I am happy with that, I am just curious. I am still in college so I don't want them until 2016 at the earliest, but I was just curious since the list is updated annually if they adjust again after the deadline for reserving tix.

Hopefully they have another bad year and then you'll move up again next offseason. Once the Cubs get good, moving up the list will be slower than watching grass grow.

Today an email from the cubs brings this news:"New for 2015, the Cubs are offering a flexible payment option for Season Tickets – allowing you to break up your total cost into four (4) easy, automatic payments. "
4 payments how often? I wonder if full payment cutoff date of jan 13 still applies?

from the Cubs:
You have two options for payments:
- 10% due in November, 90% due January 13th.

- 25% due in November, 25% December 13th, 25% January 13th, and final payment February 13th.
