...that John Paxson screwed the pooch with the cap when he signed both Hinrich and Deng to bad contracts. If a deal can't be worked out with at least one of them (only 1 needs to be traded to get 2 max contracts right??), I say we put his head on a stick Glorious Revolution in England style.

Both need to be gone for 2 max contracts.


If only Deng was gone, we would be $1-4 million short for 2 max deals. And we'd also have no more $$$$ to fill the roster.


But if we trade both? Then we can sign both and have $5-6 million left over.(Which won't happen)

Even though they are bad contracts, ill give Pax this...I dont think they expected to go into 2010 looking to sign LeBron and Bosh. At the time Deng looked to be a future star. Hinrich is just Paxs love child and got a good deal. They got lucky and got Rose which made it easier to not resign Gordon. Thomas still had hope at the time...IDK
