Since some of you out there like the Sky, brag about how much better their future is than the Bulls' here

Cardoso and Reese might be a problem out there for other teams, not gonna lie

Season starts next month!

Big mama difference maker Cordoso (6'8) vs Iowa in the national championship. Iowa had nobody to take her out the paint. 10 offensive boards, 17 rebounds total. Iowa's top Offensive rebounder was Caitlin with 2.

Cordoso vs Angel Reese. Reese is wnba version of Rodman (plays with an edge). She kept Cordoso in check and now they both on the front court together? ouch! should be a fun watch for sure.

An ok first game for Angel Reese...still got some work to do on her shooting. Too bad Cardoso started the season injured

Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark off to a bit of a rough start to her WNBA career, but I figure she'll get the hang of it eventually.

Am I the only person that thinks Hailey Van Lith is going to have a bigger WNBA career than Caitlyn Clark?

Haily V. Lith was physically overmatched by Caitlyn Clark, the girl who is about to adjust with her team or get a new coach who runs a system suited to her strengths while being physically overmatched.

The rookie who is dominating is Cameron Brink. Brink is a mega-star trained to kill by Steph curry, and eat, and hyperbaric chamber. Peele is my sleeper pick more than Reese.

Peele can be Karl Malone with 3 Range to Reeses Rodman.

In Clarks first 4 halves she has had 3 poor surprising struggles and already one half that half the league will never achieve in their career.

But you are asking a rookie to be the point guard, be the leading scorer, and learn about the target on her back, the shade.

The New York Liberty were deemed the WNBA's version of the next superteam (ala Lebron + Wade dayz) cause they had signed hall of famers Breanna Stewart, Vandersloot, etc.

They made it to the finals last season and lost.

Sky pwned them again and handed them their first loss on the season!

She gets a lot of hate because of her FG% (and other stuff) but shout out to Angel Reese for that double double record...she's been showing out this season

Hilariously team USA loses to team WNBA in the all star game, but apparently this also happened last time and then the Olympic team won gold.

So I got to see my first in person Sky game the other day against the Mercury and of course the Sky play their worst possible game, but I did have some observations.

-Angel Reese defensively is a beast. The Rodman comp seems accurate for right now, can pretty much do it all defensively except stop Brittany Griner and obviously cleans the glass. Offensively though, needs a lot of work. She is very clearly right handed, but shoots with her left for some reason, perhaps the reasoning is there on the internet somewhere idk. If she ever does figure out her shot, she'll be a 20/10+ every night.
-The Sky cannot shoot 3s at all lol. Not sure if the absence of Chennedy Carter played into that at all, but they were just blowing wide open looks all night. Dana Evans hit a few to make it look better than it was at the end of the game.
-Like the Bulls, Sky seem to give up a lot of corner 3s., seemed like the Mercury made every single one
-Despite all their bad play in this game and obvious flaws as a team, they can still get a playoff spot which is pretty impressive for the group
-Taurasi is so smooth, pretty nuts she's 42.
-Kahleah Copper is nice with it, easy to see why she was FMVP in the past and a key player on the Olympic team this year. Sky fans still love her, for good reason.
-Cardoso looks like she should be more impactful on the offensive glass than she was, but maybe it was the matchup as Griner is probably one of the few who can match her size.

You can see the potential of this Sky team, hopefully their player development is better than the Bulls

Sky fired coach Weatherspoon after just a year. Little bit controversial given the focal points Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese seem to love her, but obviously the results weren't there and other players like Mabrey were not a fan of how things were operated.

Sky probably will have 2 1sts again this upcoming draft unless they somehow win the draft lottery for 1st pick. Maybe next year they'll get some players who can actually shoot 3s
