Tweets from Kuc and Sassone. GM Bowman said he told Sharpie he won't be traded during off-season.

That's weird. Sharp said on the radio this morning Bowman hadn't said anything to him either way.

I hope the tweets are right though.

Must have been after his interview---

Stan Bowman on

Patrick Sharp: "I told him to relax. He's not going anywhere. He's a big

part of this."

That would be devastating to the team. They should be fine with the move up to this point. Anymore and the talent of players leaving will be overwhelming. Especially a Center.

Not to mention what it would do to me TO LOSE ANOTHER FUCKING JERSEY.

Got that out.

My wife would concur.

I think it is has been more than apparent that the team has not plans to trade Sharp with the way he has been shilled out since the Cup win. I don't mean that as a negative, but a team does not look to be moving a player if they are planning to put them out in public so much...especially for the SC DVD/BluRay release(s).

Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp, who was told today he won't be traded, is getting married Saturday.[/quote]

Could very well be.

I wouldn't be surprised.

Bowman on the cap conundrum: "As of right now we don't have a solution."

That kind of worries me actually.

Well, it's true. They are currently over the cap and have just a little over $700k left of the off-season 10% cushion. So I don't know how they can add players before the waiver wire opens up again to waive Huet. A pickle indeed.
