Mr. Jefferson, Sherman Hemsley died today at age 74. The Jefferson's was a great show. RIP

I saddens me that all the 70s TV actors are dying off now in the 21st century. Now I have to think in terms of their characters and I guess George is joining Weezie in TV heaven. Lord help me when the renaining Monty Pythoners, Mary Tyler Moore, Betty White, Henry Winkler, Ron Howard, and Penny Marshall go (assuming they go before me)---I am gonna be beyond verklempt.

They played the Jefferson's theme during the white sox game tonight as they tried to pump the crowd up by throwing tshirts. I was deeply disturbed. I believe it's a standard song they play at that time but sometimes you just gotta be aware. And I am not a big pc type guy.
