Jordan Howard was a pro bowler with an offensive mind like John Fox imagine what Monty would become with his influence on the offense.

He wouldn't be taking on a coaching role. He's too old and maybe senile for that. Foxy would be a consultant who will use his years of experience to help Matt Nagy figure out the whys of having an offense that is not historically inept.

Fox was bad, but the talent he was left with after Emery/Trestman was criminal. At one point, the Bears WR1 was Tanner Gentry IIRC lmao

He would bring back the good ole thunder and lightning with Herbert and Monty like he did with Cohen and Howard.

Trubisky's rookie offense under Fox looked like the greatest show on turf compared to what Nagy has done with Fields.

All I have to say on this subject is, something needs to be done. They need to look up and down not only on this roster, but on the team as a whole. One thing that baffled me, is why they kept the guy who was on the practice squad last year, and not the guy they kept on the Roster? (Simmons over Hambright) I suppose it's trading on crappy Tackle for another, but I still found that overall a strange gambit. It didn't look worth it as he was pulled for the better RT in Bars after 3 or 4 possessions.
