If it doesn’t cost a 1st.

Yes, yes they should. Would fit like a glove w/ Fields. Great route runner, great speed, great production.

They don’t necessarily need to pay him this year either, assuming Calvin is on board. He will be in the last year of rookie deal.

No. Then you have to pay both Ridley and Mooney at the same time. Would rather draft a young speed WR.
While non of us know if Ridley is actually ready after stepping away from football this logic makes no sense. Mooney is under contract for another two years and he will never command #1 wr money, here or on the open market.

If we can get him for a good deal then hell yes. I just don't see how it wouldn't cost a 1st round pick + at least a 3rd round pick and maybe even a late round pick.

I think a 1st and 3rd is steep but could see him go for a late 1st. Will be interesting to see what he ends up being traded for.

Hard to imagine that someone with the potential downside of just quitting football could get a first.

I wouldn't consider a first rounder for him, because you're also automatically committing $35mil guaranteed and probably at least $16mil a year if you think he's worth a first.

Was it a health condition he voluntarily stepped away from football?

Only if our gm can give up multiple high picks and sign him to a guaranteed 3 year extension at 30 mil per year.

The answer is easily no.....stop trading picks and start hitting on picks

Enough with this trade nonsense. If you want to be a GM you draft talent.

Not sure bringing him in after he gave up on his team last season. It feels like a wrong decision. But then again, a change of scenery may be want he needs.

If the Falcons release him, he'd be worth picking up. But would the Falcons want 2 3rds from 2025?

It sounds like ATL will welcome him back.

"It's a difficult journey. It's not unique in America," Blank said. "It's not unique on sports teams or in community populations. There's a lot of trauma today. And so I think he's committed to resolving his issues and getting them behind him. Doesn't mean they're necessarily out of his head but they are behind him and he'll be able to function fully, not only on the field but off the field as well.
