The Bulls were killed again while Bogans played. It's been a familiar theme for Chicago all season long. Tom Thibodeau has been stubborn with Bogans all season long as well. It's really hard to argue with his calls given that...

Maybe if Bogans doesn't hit the 3's he takes. The only person I can see "removing" would be Asik, and even then, I'd play him to matchup, not take him out completely. The Bulls won 63 games with this group of players. No sense in changing now.

I dont know about shortening rotations but I would say maybe they should be more flexible based on matchups. Its not that Thibs hasnt tinkered with and used combinations in the post. But one thing to consider is that Deng is also capable of guarding PFs and Ronnie Brewer can guard most SFs.

If Boozer doesnt get it going, then they really need to consider other combinations.

NO! Keep it as it is. It worked all season and keep it together.

The regular season has a totally different dynamic than the playoffs. In the regular season, you play with greater frequency and you don't typically play the same teams back to back. To a certain extent (though its not an absolute) the regular season gameplans for every team in the NBA, while the playoffs are more aboug focusing on one team. And so to say what works for the regular season, will also work for the playoffs is questionable.

Doug should know better. If the Bulls are winning, you can't decide how you play your rotations before a game. You stick to what is working, then make adjustments when needed. If Indiana tries something different, as they should because THEY lost, then you see what is working, and if shortening the rotation is a part of that, then yes.

Each game is different and this is an opponent where you don't really need to worry so much about that. Right now, the Bulls can continue to ride out their bench but it's time to start shortening their minutes.

Within this comment, lies a deeper outlook on what the Bulls should be doing.

Right now the Bulls can't show too many of their cards. It's that simple. You don't want to give away a strategy to a greater opponent when you don't need to. I think Thibodeau green lighted a few schemes against Milwaukee that we haven't used all season and we haven't seen since. I'm looking to see the Bulls use some of those "clipboard" playsets in desperation, and desperation only.

Only change in the rotation i could see is giving the remains of Bogans minutes to Korver and Brewer. Like many said, it depends on the matchups game to game, series to series. But i dont think they will go away from Bogans YET. They brought him in for big games to play defense and hit the occasional outside shot, which i think he will after such a poor shooting performance.

I, like a few who have already stated this, thinks the Bulls should just stick to what theyre doing because it has been working. The real struggles with this offense has been Boozer and his inability to score. Wheres the low post monster from earlier in the season? He's missing easy buckets right under the rim. Hes always been undersized but thats never stopped him outside of the elite players hes faced in the playoffs. But we're talking about Hansbrough and your everyday marginal PFs. When Boozer is on his game, it changes everything. Yes the SG position needs to bring more to the table but Boozer was brought in for a reason and hes not doing what he was supposed to.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it. The rotation is fine now. We just need the rest of the players to pick up the slack after Rose's dynamic performance yesterday. Get everyone on the same page and running on all cylinders, look out!
