Yeah I was shocked by that too. Also Wesley Johnson over Durant though I don't ever see Wesley Johnson play so I guess idk. I thought Durant would be higher regardless.

I'd say

Ray Allen
Steve Novak
Jason Kapono
Kyle Korver
Anthony Morrow

Ι don't know. Ray Allen is one of my favorite players but this year he was injured? He didn't play a lot? Idk. Every time I watched a celtics game he wasn't the good old Ray Allen. He missed a lot of open shots. His shooting speed was reduced. I didn't watch him so much this year because the Celtics were one of the most boring teams to watch. He probably deserves a spot in my top 5 but these 5 were the first players who came to my mind. These are the players who can't be left open for no reason for me. Of course there are other players too. But I picked these 5 as my fav for this year.

Kapono still got it? I have lost track of him. Where does he play now?

PURE shooter?

Lucas is the Bulls best pure shooter. Shit just rolls down hill once his 5'11" build and playground habits start to deform the rest of his game.

Jimmer has similar matchup issues, but strictly as a Pure shooter, he might be the best in the NBA.

Ray Allen as #1 is right.

Ben Gordon is also a good, pure shooter.

Btw I saw a recent pic of Korver with a walking boot. He will probably need some type of surgery too. Rose, Watson, Korver, Deng so far. Nice!

ray allen's jumper is the most deadly in the league and as a pure shooter he is it. players like kapono and novak, they only shoot if they are left open and the ballhandler finds them. ray allen, dirk nowitzki, and sometimes kyle korver have plays run specifically for them off of curls and screens etc. and are more than just spot up shooters like kapono and novak. those guys only shoot in a few carefully selected scenarios.

steve nash is the best shooter at finding his own scoring opportunities, and i can see steph curry eventually heading in that direction but probably somewhat inferior court vision to nash
