I'm shaking from being cold even when near heat.
Had a high fever.
Hadn't been sick in more than a year.
It hurt my post count from yesterday. smug
I can't write because my hand shakes to much.
Coughing.

Anyone have a diagnosis?

I'm sick as heck too. Just get alot of sleep,take some medicine,drink alot of liquids(tea,gatorade,lots of water,orange juice),light food like soup then eventually when you can eat more solid foods. Just some simple common sense stuff.

Flu sounds good enough. Seems like a lot of mucus is in my throat too, and I couldn't even eat half of a burger, and in the last 2 days have only eaten a third of a burger, a fruit bar, and a fruit roll-up.

Doesn't flu involve sneezing/vomiting though? I haven't done that much.

Everything is relative . I sucked it up today and purposefully didn't go to the nurse's office because I didn't want to know then if I had a fever. But it was probably kinda stupid considering I work with kids who have immune deficiencies (aside from other health ailments).

With 101 degree fever, I'm not going in tomorrow and am going to the doc.

Nice, lol. i went to school Monday, but came home after driving. Probably will still be sick Thursday and have to make that up though.

The dumbest thing you can do is ask a forum filled with sports fanatics to diagnose you. Everyone these days thinks theyre a damn doctor because they go on WebMD and so a little research. If you truly are sick and dont think over the counter medicine will suffice, see a doctor.

Being in the health industry, i find it comical when people pretend to be pathologists because they have google by their side.

Most sicknesses have exactly the same symptoms as the next. Only an expert can narrow down the actual cause. Years ago I had a throat virus, worst fucking thing too. Felt like I was choking to death. Z-Pac and antibiotics. Just recently I got it again, had the Exact same symptoms too. Told the doc, got the Z-Pac only, even tho I now had a sinus infection. Had to go back and got different meds as I wasnt cured. Point is, if its that bad, see a doctor to cure it properly cuz it maybe something more.

No where in there did you say "sore throat." No wonder we got the diagnosis all wrong.

It's only sore when I swallow, but I tested positive for strep. :shrug:

Damn strep is awful, i had it so many times. Going out at night and sharing drinks with dirty fn people. anti-biotics are a beautiful thing.
