Would rip the arms off a Grizzly Bear and beat him silly. No way a Grizzly Bear would kill a full grown Silverback.

Not a chance. A grizz weighs way more. Has way more fat. Runs faster. Can shatter the spine of a moose with one paw swipe. Can take a 12 gauge shot to the skull and deflect it. Good luck to the herbivore.

Any large bear like a grizzly or polar bear would maul a gorilla to death easily and quickly.

Neither would take that fight, probably. Some here should probably understand that lesson, you aren't going to escape a major conflict clean. You might win, but if your opponent has physical weapons it is doubtful you will subdue them without taking damage you don't need. Its not worth it.

At 500 lbs, the largest of silverbacks would stand toe to toe with a medium-small grizzly. A medium+ Silverback, at 350-400, is going to give up 100-300lbs to bigger Grizzlies.

Only severe hunger would ever instigate that fight, and likely it would be a Gorrilla and his tribe, all his 200-300 lb posse of honeys, backing him up.

Bigfoot (7ft. 500-100lbs) might be a better match for a bear

https://www.quora.com/Who-would-win-a-fight-between-a-gorilla-and-a-grizzly-bear-and-why

Seems reasonable....

Assuming silverback in his prime Vs a big Alaskan grizzly… Not much of a fair fight. The bear would maul the gorilla. The grizzly bear is an apex predator. It is getting on for twice the gorilla’s size. It has a massive set of jaws, big enough to encompass the gorillas head, filled with a robust set of carnivore teeth. It has enormous, hugely powerful paws, each ending in 5 4-inch claws that will tear into earth, trees and thick-hided ungulates with equal disdain.

The fact that grizzly bears are omnivorous doesn't diminish their predatory ability. Physiologically they are little different to polar bears, which are almost entirely predatory (though like all bears they are happy to scavenge should a free lunch present itself). The grizzly tending towards being slightly smaller, overall, but more robustly built. Where their ranges overlap, grizzly bears are dominant to polar bears.

Now yes, the gorilla is an exceptionally strong animal. And it has a wicked set of incisors for a herbivore. But it is overwhelmingly outmatched in terms of size, offensive weaponry, and predatory ability.

Defensively, bears are built to survive fights with other bears. They have dense fur, thick sub-cutaneous fat around their necks and shoulder, thick skin and a massively sturdy skeletal system. Gorillas are flimsy in comparison.
