If I'm the Cubs I don't know if I would take Girardi.
He did win a WS with the Yankees, but it was the Yankees. Flip side: he did get the Marlins into the mix his one year in Florida.
I guess if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn't want Girardi to manage my team. So I guess I wouldn't want him to manage the Cubs if I was a Cubbie.

I'd be fine w/ him as the manager but there's no way the Cubs are gonna outbid the Yankees for him. No one outbids the Yankees.
