Holy shit, we haven't hosted anyone and I'm already sick of doing dishes. We're making homemade applesauce and a shitton of cookies to give as presents so the kitchen looks like a war zone

But I digress. I second the notion of making sure your family/friends know you love them with hugs, not necessarily presents.
