This is a Space Faring RTS... the "map" is a star system or a series of star systems each with planets and asteroids and junk.

You start out with your home planet and you expand out from there battling with the other players for domination of the star system(s).

It is a long play type of game, not a 10-20 minute C&C blitzfest.

It has a decent amount of management to get used to.... each planet captured has buildings you build around it.... defenses, research stations, trading ports, etc. There are several research trees you have to keep spending resources in to research stuff to make your ships better, allow you to build better ships, allow you to build more ships, etc.

It is a fun long play game doe.... anyone else play this game?

It is one where I can setup a hookah and put on some TV in the background and play/chill

I'm going to assume this is a PC game. Strategy heavy sounds like, not battle heavy?

Yes PC... RTS.... It is quite battle heavy... unless you just take over a few planets and sit around waiting to get destroyed.

That is part of the micromanagement that gets tough.... creating many fleets of appropriate size and then continually re-supplying them with more ships after losses in battles or making sure you pay attention to the fleets and the battles you have them in so they don't just sit in combat and die when they are grossly outnumbered or outgunned.

Just took a look at a few reviews and some gameplay. Looks really good.

I like it, I think it would be fun playing with some real people instead of against the AI all the time.

I always see it being advertised on Steam. It sounds complicated as ****.. how long does it take to get good at it?

Well to get to where you are competent and you can utilize all the features of the game, it probably takes 3 or 4 plays against the AI... its not a terrible learning curve IMO.

To get "good" idk.... I dont know that I am "good" lol but I can play it and it is fun.
