So I've been on the Damian Martinez bandwagon for awhile. A 230/235 lb back that has some nice feet. Think he is Monty with a lil more burst. He has some nice games where he had over 75 yds RAC and averaged over 6yds a run average for the season.
My surprise was when Dylan Sampson declared. This kid has some JUICE!He could be as quick as Gibbs and he's only 20. Now, he could probably have stayed in school and been a late 1st early second round pick next year. Nevertheless I think after the combine next week these two are gonna be moving up some draft boards. Think Martinez is a 3rd/4th round pick and depending on combine Sampson could sneak into the 2nd.
Think the Bears could easily replace Swift with Sampson and not skip a beat. In fact he might be a bigger explosives runner than Swift. Martinez can could easily trump Johnson.

I'm going with my guy LeQuint Allen (Syracuse)

I'd bet he's the best receiving RB in this draft. He's not going to cut on a dime on you but he can make his sudden movements to get around guys. I'll be keeping a very close eye on him at the combine, if he goes, to see his measurements and watch him in all the drills.

He reminds me of Matt Forte the way he plays.

Raheem Sanders might run a low 4.4 at close to 240. Could be your bigger back in the late rounds.

I’m a huge scaettebu fan, the guy from ASU. I think he has Walter Payton / leveon bell vibes and might be able to be had in round 3

I've read that this is a very deep RB class, and it could be possible to find a quality starting RB in rounds 3-5.

Given that this is a copycat league, though, I wonder if teams will prioritize the position after seeing the difference guys like Barkley, Henry, Jacobs, Gibbs, etc. have had on their respective teams and as a result, draft RBs earlier than they would have in the last few years.

I can definitely see a scenario where, once a couple of backs get drafted, a string of them go shortly after since teams don't want to miss out on the top ones.

If I had to comp him to a previous NFL RB, I’d suggest John Riggins.
