Slow starts for Abreu, Frazier and Jackson

I went digging through the numbers to try and account for the slow starts for Abreu, Frazier, and Jackson. What I found was mostly encouraging, but Abreu needs to start making better contact.

Abreu showed superior plate discipline during his ROY year. The problem with Abreu since then is he's swinging at too many pitches outside the strikezone. Until he starts laying off those low-and-away pitches and starts taking more walks, he won't get anything to hit.

Seems like Frazier is turning it around, slowly. They get the top of the lineup going and ... holy shit, lookout.

Jackson' biggest problem is that he has an uppercut swing. If he would level that up a bit, with his speed he'd hit for a better average.
