So how do we fix the pass rush and the run defense?

Pass rush has shown since the first game of the season it can't create pressure. What are some things you think can be done at this point to better it? It's seems our guys are just over powered on every rush.

What about our run defense. We haven't given up way to much but we didn't really face a big time running back. And bush ain't even a top 5 running back. As a catcher yes but running the ball no. He looked like one today. What are your thoughts on that.

I'm more worried about the pass rush because it has shown since the beginning of the season we can't generate pressure. Are we stuck with this the whole season, do you think we can fix this situation? Thougts?

Trade for a DT, or maybe sign Hampton.

Bench Shea McClellin.
Thing is Wooten and most of the season, Peppers have been playing like Shea as well. So we really don't have anyone that is better. Unless we try the unproven.

Do you think lighting a Fire on the Dline's ass will help? In my opinion I don't think so. But of course I could be wrong. I just think Peppers age is showing and he will do alright at times but not like before. I think Shea is to weak for the NFL at this moment and Wooten shows his head every blue moon. Then the DT position is another story. Even when Melton was in there he sucked ass.

Lots of blitzing. Lots and lots of blitzing. It works against both the run and the pass.

Sadly, if this trend continues, we may have to sell out a lot on blitzes and hope they get home.

If we are going to get gashed, I would rather it be done while we blitz

Reports coming out that Bears players are blaming Izzy for tipping off the Bears defensive plays

Still doesn't account for poor gap control, poor tackling and non-existent pass rush.

You don't have to tell me, I haven't been happy with the defense in any of our games this year, the only thing they have done in the other games was turnovers, and for the most part that is just individual efforts like punching the ball out. Izzy feeding Bears plays is not the problem.
