Not at all. I don't understand why people are writing off McD this early. He's bigger than Korver, and he broke all of Korver's records at Creighton. Kyle is a 13 year veteran and McD is a rookie that can't get any minutes from Thib's. It's not like Korver lit it up his rookie year:

I'm not giving up on McD either. Look at the growth of Butler and Snell under Thibs. There is no reason to doubt McD won't be the same, especially given he was the better college player of the three.

im not telling you to give up on McD...im telling you that if you are expecting him to end up becoming the best 3 point shooter in the world(like korver is) is unrealistic expectations. I hope and wish for the best, but I think if he ends up being as good as Dunleavy itll be a win for the bulls

And you're basing that off of a whopping 9.8 minutes/game in 21 games? :dunno: Surely you jest!? If anything, we should be looking at what Korver is doing this year and be motivated to get McD some more minutes, but instead, Thib's gives him 1 minute at the end of a blowout. :smh:

no, im telling you to expect korver level shooting is lofty expectations.
and p.s.s. I gave that betting advice before they announced Dunleavy was playing. and secondly if you've followed my picks at all on here youd noticed that's the first one ive been wrong on in roughly the 5 or 6 times ive given bulls betting advice

Completely different kinds of player. In fact, McD isn't like Korver at all. He can score in many more ways. He can take it off the dribble, post-up, cut off screens, stop & pop, & has underrated athleticism. All he needs is time. This kid has Wally Szczerbiak 2.0 written all over him. He can be better than Dunleavy. He can be better than Korver.
Will he be a better 3 point shooter than Korver? Maybe, maybe not but make no mistake, if he fulfills his potential, he could make an All-Star team without being a replacement like Korver is.
