Sad to see him go. Obviously outstanding on STs over the years and underrated as a plug in DB when he was called upon.

Dude was a baller for us...

Bears want to get rid of one of the few cheap contracts... Dumbasses. He was actually worth the money he was getting paid. Did he fall off on special teams last year?

I should have put 2+2 together when I saw rookie Thomas Graham wearing a #27 in the rookie minicamp.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him pop up as a coach, maybe even this year.

There goes the Super Bowl, damn.

Honestly though, we need to find ST's that can contribute more on either offense or defense. For whatever reason, he'd couldn't rise above it. That said, I'd love to see him come back for training camp if we have an injury. Hope he finds work but hope the Bears are next in line.

Local kid is no longer in the big time. But he made it there and continually earned his spot.

Just read where Sherrick McManus is leaving. Dude was a special teams baller and the longest tenured Bear. Wishing him luck.
Kinda knew this when i saw our 6th round rookie Thomas Graham Jr wearing his #27 in the rookie photo.
