Hey!

I'm from Austria, Europe and die hard Bears fan!

I'm going to travel to Chicago this Weekend and want to visit the Packers Game, but my girlfriend fears the cold weather... Now i've read, that the media deck section features overhead heater... Does anyone have experience with that section? how much of a difference does it make?

It would be our second bears game in Chicago. The first was in November 2010 against the Viqueens (Section 339) and it was a little freezy but nothing brutal... temperature was about 25-30 °F back then...

Do you guys think i can risk buying tickets? In don't want to spend big money on these expensive tickets and then may have to leave game early because its too cold for my girlfriend...

Thanks for your advice,

Go Bears!

I've never sat there, but just make sure she bundles up (pretend your in Innsbruck during January/February [the temperature and wind will be similar]). Here is the "carry in" policy at Soldier Field. I don't know anyone who has ever had an issue with clothes/blankets, so you should be fine.

In the future if cold weather is the main concern, buy club tickets.

Bring cardboard or styrofoam to put under your feet.
