Some good does come from youth hockey

There is quite a rivalry when these 2 youth hockey organizations meet. Players from opposite teams go to school together, even are neighbors. Great moment shared that hopefully will help in her recovery.

Maiden, I assume you knew her from your days with the Sabres?



I hope to hear of her recovery and it is great to see young adults gather and pay respect. A great learning experience for all of them. I enjoy reading stories of those who come together and those that think of others rather then just themselves. A teachable moment for the kids.

I met her over the past year and she is a wonderful person. Ironically her youngest son is in that picture and played in that game against his former teammates. A great gesture by the Huskies Bantam AA team. Couldn't be more proud of both hockey organizations.
