Pretty silly article. Rose is completely different from Dwight. Rose loves Chicago.

Rose leaving Chicago would be similar to LeBron leaving Cleveland. While Chicago doesn't seem to be a top destination for many of these guys, I think we could acquire someone through a trade asset eventually as this is Chicago and not Cleveland. I don't see Rose pulling a LeBron James, but I will never say never.

Let's just say that 5 years from now if Rose hasn't won anything I wouldn't be surprised if he left.

I wouldn't say if he hasn't won anything, more so if the Bulls still haven't acquired another top talent. Keep in mind that technically the Heat could win the next 5 titles.

anyone think the Bulls could swing a deal for Kevin Love if he is still unhappy in Minnesota at year's end?

Didn't he just sign a new contract?

Well given the logistics of the issue, I don't see it happening. A couple of years down the road? Sure.

something to look forward too  not holding my breath by any means

Yeah, I mean its pretty obvious we're handicapped until at least the 2013 offseason, we still very well be handicapped at that point in time too. The Bulls need to dump a few guys because even next year they set at $64 million, which is still over the salary cap (not luxury). Hamilton they could not exercise his option, which saves 5 mil, but Boozer is still on the books, and Gibson is up for a contract

Rose is not the same type of personality as Howard or Lebron or CP3. He's humble, soft-spoken, & extremely loyal. Add to that the incredible family support system around him, I don't see anyway that he would DEMAND to be traded.

One thing I am getting tired of though, is this notion that all the Big 3's started with Boston in '07. Nothing could be further from the truth. Stars have played together in this league since dating back to it's inception. When the league was only 8 teams, most of those teams were stacked with great players. Boston, LA, & Philadelphia were chock full of HOFers & multiple all-stars. The only differences I see in those teams & the ones forming now is that there are no good rivalries in the NBA anymore. After every game, you'll see players from both teams huggin' it out & broin' it up. What happened to the competitive spirit that fueled athletes to walk away from after game handshakes? Where's the trash talk, message sending fouls, evil-eyed stares, & desire to annihilate & humiliate your opponent? It's the AAU culture in bball now that makes me pine for the glory days of bruising basketball.

That's long gone...the NBA is getting less and less interesting to watch...rules are getting ridiculous...everything is a foul now...its turning into a Harlem globetrotter show or and1. Defense is an afterthought. I love watching the games of the 80s and 90s. Exponentially times better than games of today.

 the NBA is all about social drama now, who likes who, it's like a 2nd grade crush, Dwight Howard for instance, "I want to be traded" *everyone reacts* "No, no, no that's not true, I dont want to be traded, who told you that?" but he continues to want to leave. the lure of the NBA isnt the play anymore, it's who can build a better team through recruiting and being best buddies! :highfive:

Cleveland is a shithole. Honestly, I don't blame LeBron for leaving(I do blame him for partaking in player tampering, but that's an old and worn out topic that is separate from this one.)

Anyone that thinks Rose wouldn't Leave the Bulls if he saw a better opportunity is seriously nieve.

Rose has said out his own mouth,"I JUST WANT TO WIN".......and if management fails to help Rose make that possible, then he will find somewhee else to do it, and I honestly wouldn't blame him...........This wouldn't be a case of Rose being unloyal, it would be a case of management baing unloyal to its players...........

Fire PaxGar
Sell Bulls, Mr. Reinsdorrf...

Thank you.
