I'm starting to think the Bulls aren't going to get anyone.

I've always said (for 2 years) that LeBron would stay in Cleveland. the Bulls chances got a lot better when the Cavs lost to Bos, but now I'm thinking he's staying.

As for Wade, if he comes here I think Bosh will too. But I still can't see Wade leaving Miami. And I think Bosh will follow him.

What happens if LBJ, Wade and Bosh all pass on the Bulls? JJ is staying it the ATL, fine for that kind of money. and Amare is in NY.

So that leaves the Bulls with Boozer?

Keep in mind Boozer averaged 19.5/11

No matter how you look at it its still a really good pick up.

Trying my best to stay positive. If that happens we will all be a little disappointed, but if we end up with Boozer we are farfrom having a bad offseason. Pair him with some shooters and we can be dangerous in the playoffs.

That's true, Boozer is good and fills a role that the Bulls have needed for a while.

I'm just worried that if Wade and Bosh are in Miami, LBJ in Cleveland, still got Orlando and Boston, that the Bulls with Boozer, Rose, Noah will be good, but not good enough.

We'll see what happens.

Even if this is the case, we no longer have to watch mediocre basketball. We'll be essentially a lock to at least make the playoffs, and probably win a series or two along the way.

Exactly, we at least have a good shot at the Conference Finals, possibly farther if Rose and Noah improve even more. Especially if we become an elite defensive team under Thib, anything can happen. Also I believe Boozer helps out our half court game immensity, which is what we will need come playoff time.

Assuming we get a shooter or two and with Rose and hopefully Deng improving their three point shot, I will actually be really happy. We will have a very fun team to watch. I think we will have an incredibly balanced team and may be able to make a surprise Finals appearance like the Pistons did during their runs. Although they did it in the weak East, I will still be very happy once a couple weeks past of getting over not getting one of the big 3.

I am more concerned about the wing players. While I believe that Rose will continue to improve. The better the off guard is, the quicker and easier it will be for Rose to maximize his game...

There are so many options available to us this season. Signing someone is cleary the best but signing boozer still leaves us open to absorb another max deal in trade or make a strong push for melo. If we strike out or only get boozer/lee, I will only be worried after the trade deadline.

Well if we do get Boozer we still have plenty of money to throw at some shooters, so to say the least I am not too worried about the Bulls future.

If we strike out, we really need to throw a couple mill at Raja Bell or try to trade for Azabuike.

If we strike out, we go after Melo, which I'm leaning more towards anyway. Yes I'd love to have the best player in the world on the team, but Melo fits our team perfectly if we get no one. He plays well off the ball, which would allow Rose to still control the offense, & has a very good post up game. I think this would also help Rose to continue to develop into the superstar he's capable of being. I love the idea of having Lebron or Wade but it's really tough for me to accept that these two will leave loads of money on the table with a new CBA coming up & a possible lock-out looming.

Don't jump until after July 8th Kush. Everyone have a happy & safe 4th.

Another good point someone brought up. If we only get Boozer as the max guy, we have plenty of money left to go grab a shooter or two and add some depth, or go for Melo if that's possible. So it's not the end of the world.

I still think Wade and Bron destroy Melo and Boozer both collectively and individually.

OK, lets say LeBron, Wade & Bosh all go elsewhere. The Bulls still have:

* The youngest all-star in the league at PG
* A great young defensive center
* A good shot at Boozer/Lee, both of whom play a position of need and average 20/12 per 36
* Cap space to make trades (either now, or if we preserve it, at the deadline)

ANY other year the Bulls would be considered to be in a GREAT situation with that.

I see no reason at all to be on the ledge. Yeah, it's not championship next year like we'd be thinking if we got LeBron or Wade + Bosh. But we're still in a great position to build from going forward.

Right now, without knowing where the guys are going to sign other than BS "sources" there's no way I'd swap the Bulls situation for any of the other players. The Cavs, the Knicks, The Heat, the Nets ... all of them are looking at a stint in the lottery if they can't get their guy. We're still a playoff team.
