yep Danny T was professional in his postgame. Stated that play was supposed to be defended a different way...and that he didn't want to get into it but still took responsibility

I didn't under fans being upset with DT. He got thrown under the bus on that play. Whether Jackson had the deep middle is up for discussion because it looked like Rodgers may have moved them over.
For sure it was a dumb play as evidenced by the reactions from the experts.

EJ decided to jump a shorter route in hopes of a pick. Pagano essentially called a cover zero with 3 LBers (?)on the field that cant cover. I'd have to watch it again but it was a poorly schemed play

Eddie Jackson had dropped like 4 ints this year. Mack didn’t get double digit sacks. Goldman out all year. Quinn is complete garbage. Plenty of reason the d looks mediocre.

Jackson was in straight man coverage against a WR. Gipson had to take over coverage of Devante Adams because of the slot blitz. There is no one there to help Trevathan.
Jackson helping the deep middle would make no sense here because it would have left Rodgers’ first read wide open for an easy first down with absolutely no chance of the blitzing CB getting to Rodgers. Remember, it was only 3rd and 4.

The blitz by Shelley was telegraphed by Gipson's early slide, and Quinn should have bumped ValdesScantling at the line to give Trevathan a chance to get back. Bad play match up all around, and an easy decision for Rodgers.
