Not necessarily. You see what Cleveland is doing? They resigned Kevin Love at 22 milllion a year AND Tristan Thompson $16 million a year. And they still have have to pay Lebron. Rose's deal does not look so bad now.

Props where it is due. Butler used the media's distaste for Rose to apply pressure to Bulls management. Butler had NO intention to go anywhere else. His widely reported and photographed dinner with Thibs on the weekend before free agency was a NICE touch and no coincidence.

I'd argue Harden pulled the bigger disappearing act in the Finals...granted he was not the player he is now, but he's definitely had his dud moments.
