This was a Republican set up. The guy wanted southern California to not have LA and make San Diego it's capital. Which means LA and San Francisco both would be in Northern CA. So the North would be way liberal and the south way conservative. I want to hear what the new names would be.

Where does that leave Canada? 52nd state? Rather be an odd number state but I guess 52 will have to do.

There are radical thinkers here in B.C. who think we should be our own country. I believe they want Washington State to join also. So if we take Washington state then you can allow Southern California to become a separate state thus leaving it at 50. You guys wouldn't have to change the flag or anything. Works for everyone.
