For years I have been getting spam phone calls from a so-called "Canadian pharmacy." I have never in my life ordered anything from any Canadian pharmacy or any online pharmacy for that matter. Yet I keep getting phone calls from these people, which is most likely a scam because they keep changing phone numbers on me. So whenever I put a phone number on block, a few weeks later they'll call back using a different number. Any suggestions on how to make this stop? Changing phone numbers isn't an option for me. All I do now is put the phone number on block, but they keep calling back with different ones.

Me wife and kid have sequential phone numbers. They all ring within about 20 seconds of each other, we know it's spam. Block all you want, they just use different numbers, same with email spam.

For us it's usually for free vacations or vitamins, both of which I need. How do they know?????? Ooooooooooooo!

Your provider might have a block number feature, where you can block incoming calls from a number(even if it's private on your end) with a simple swipe and tap app. The service that provides this spam blocking, also compiles a filter that blocks known spam numbers, so if everyone who uses it reports a number, then others who enable the service wont get those calls.

I haven't had a solicitor call in over two years.

How do you know his are automated?

You're right I don't know. All the cell phone spam my family gets is automated, I just assumed, see what happens. With the crap we get "no call lists" and blocking have no effect. I'll try the whistles, just for fun.

BTW we get these calls once a month at most.

do not call list. Works for me.

Did that, didn't work for me. And it's a live operator that always calls, with a heavy Indian accent.

It's too easy to get around the do not call list.

Next time, if you have the time to play around, chat with them. When they ask for a credit card number, give them a false one. When they ask if you are sure that's the right number, apologize and give them another fake number. A superior will come on then and you can give him/her a false number. Then you can tell them to **** off and stop calling.

I have done this twice, once to the cruise guys, and once to the credit/debt reduction guys. Have not received a call since.

I had a buddy that used to mess with their minds..When they would call he would ask them to hold on while he shut the TV off...Then he would go eat, come back 20 mins later only to tell them to hold on again etc...Eventually they stopped calling..lol

There is a comedian named Tom Mabe that has basically made a living messing with telemarketers. I’ve got one of his CDs and it’s hilarious.

You are on the national DNC and they still call? Write down who they are and from what numbers when you can. Each report gets them fined and you some cash IIRC
