Spending an afternoon in chicago

Will be at the union station station (Jackson and Canal) for ~5 hours, where do I eat?
Only requirement is good beer. I was looking at poag Mahone's. Food looks good, but it looks like all their tap beers are guiness and blue moon, that type of beer.
I would like some good preferably local beer and good food. Thanks!

Boston Blackies is near the Adams street exit of Union Station, just cross Adams and walk along the river like 1 block.

South Branch is near there as well.

Have done happy hour at both.... decent food/beer selection, check them out.
