My mind was blown the first time I heard this. If you have the time I HIGHLY reccomend a listen. Probably 23-24 years old and made this song happen. It's unreal...God damn this song is good.

True story about Springsteen..Back in like 81, I worked with this colored guy who was a huge blues lover..He knew I liked the blues as well, so he invited me to go to the Buddy Guy's Legends to see Muddy Waters. We get in the place and the rumor started that the E Street Band who were playing in Chicago that night were supposed to be coming there..Sure enough, later on the E Street Band arrived. Muddy started playing and I could tell he wasn't playing his usual good stuff...The E Street Band got on stage and Springsteen looked like a complete idiot prancing around like a tranny while Muddy was jamming..Then Clemons started playing, and he couldn't even stay in line with what the rest of the guys were playing..He sounded like he played for a total of 6 months. he was off beat, and he was trying to play licks that didn't go with the music...Muddy Waters just kind of ignored them. Eventually they left and then the real music started..Muddy played all his best songs and the music was incredible. I never liked Springsteen, but after that night I hated him, and still do. All the people in the place were snickering when he was on stage. I own 19 guitars.

lol..nice touch..Do you touch yourself or FT like that?

lmao@ "colored guy"..wait till biggie sees that!

They are coming over on their bus. They are running late as they ran into a little trouble on the back end of their last engagement

Great cover(no waits hate).

I think Bruce is pretty punk. He used to hangout at CBGB's in the late 70s which I wa shocked to read about. I mean, if Joe Strummer pretty much wrote a love letter about Springsteen and the Ramones asked him to write a song for them.. I'd consider him pretty punk. Not to mention Velvet Underground/Lou Reed would follow Bruce all around NYC in the late 70s.. Dude was more punk than some realize

The cars played cbgb's all the time and I don't consider them punk (more new wave like fellow cbgb-ers talking heads and television and blondie) but I'm not here to argue labels. da boss 4eva

Hell yeah! Just started considering Bruce punk when punk 'idols' such as The Ramones asked the guy to write a song for them! lol! Also, when Strummer is writing a letter bout what your music means to 'em, I'd say that goes a long way.

Ole, I relaly hope you checked out the links I posted on here. I truly think you'd dig it.

Da Boss is not punk. I like some of his music but there is nothing "punk" about it. Not sure how Lou Reed or Velvet Underground affiliations would qualify him as punk either. The Clash and The Ramones were very popular bands that are considered to be punk, but not sure how Da Boss collaborating with the most popular punk bands of his time would qualify him as punk either. Sorry bruh, I'm not buying what you're selling...
