If anyone parallels Johnny Red Kerr between Neil and Stacey then it is definitelty Stacey.

Funk is awful. Didn't really like him much on the radio & absolutely hate him on TV. He mixes up players with frightening regularity, has times where he seems to forget how to speak (Thanks for joining us it's the Bulls versus (10second pause) the.....Raptors), & has about as much personality as a sponge. Not to mention his abrasive, uber-nasal voice. I don't mind Stacey but I would rather have Chuck & Bill take over on TV & Neil & Stacey move to radio. Chuck & Bill are just enjoyable to listen to, plus they know their shit & have a great banter.

sadly the radio is on delay, so i can't sync up the radio to a muted television. I dont like funk, but i love chuck and bill.

Well last season I couldn´t stand Funk, too. But meanwhile I got used to him and I don´t argue about him anymore. I´m even happy to hear him after listening to the guys I had to listen to during away games.

But if I could make a change I would pair King with Swirsky.

Funk isn't too annoying except when playing Detroit, then his insistence that Ben Gordon is the enemy of all that is true and good in this world goes a bit over the top.

That is Stacey King that does a lot of that, not just Neil Funk. Stacey always makes jokes about Gordon's bad defense.

There's this thing about Neil Funk that makes me not hate him as much as everyone else. I do admit that he's really bad now seeing that he completely mixes some players with others that may not even be in the game at that point and calling shots 3s that are like 4 steps inside the line. Maybe it's just that all the old MJ highlights are called by him. Just listen to any Running With the Bulls podcast intro and all those memorable plays are called by Neil Funk. So I guess at one point in his life he was pretty good. But eh...what can you do?

I love listening to them. Neil Funk on his worst day is better than Drexler & that other Rockets homer that does their broadcast.

Of course Stacey King is the man.....but I guess I don't have any dislike for Funk personally.
