McVay sounds a bit sheepish. Do the Bears catch a huge break in the opener?

“If Stafford misses time, the Rams won’t be OK. Expectations are sky high in L.A. because of the arrival of Stafford (or maybe because of the departure of Jared Goff). If Stafford can’t play all or most of the season, it will be harder to fulfill those expectations, especially in the most competitive division in the NFL.”

What a dumbass loser.
I guess McVay has been criticized because he hasn’t had his defensive players wear soft shells on their helmets in practice.

All jokes aside, if Stafford were to miss any time, the rams may be a team that foles would like to be traded to and I think their backup is still Wofford right? So that'd be a match.

Surprised Dallas hasn't called on foles with their backup situation

Bortles seems like an obvious move if Stafford misses time.

I suspect he didn't break it and will be throwing again soon. Even if it's a crack, he'll be back for the Bear in 5.5 weeks. It would need to be severe, like needing surgery or cast set, to miss opening day

wrong thread
Not if he gets traded to the Rams. Multiple beat writer reports claiming the Bills are receiving offers for him. Could be just hyperbole, like most other rumors.

The 4 years thing fooled me. I figured this was about performance. My bad.
