Definitely a valuable piece that should be kept. Pretty good speed and not particularly expensive either. Scored a decent amount of goals last season (don't know how he did as far as points) and is a solid option for the 4th line.

Definitely should re-sign IMO.

:bigfinger:

Well, he is good enough to be on the 3rd line... he just won't really be effective there.

Top six speed (this is a compliment).

Top six checking/physicality (this is not a compliment).

Bottom six hands (this is not a compliment).

Bottom six sense (this is not a compliment).

I'm wondering if he's in the wrong business--and he might have a future in speed skating. Ok, kinda harsh, but remember, he was the return of a salary cap casualty.

Speed Skaters only crossover counter clockwise ... so Iago has a good opinion of Stalberg's crossover ability... :D

And here I only though he had north-south speed ability.

All right, ordniarily I would vote no opinion, but I have a mate up in Sweden who really likes the guys, and this guy has contributed a lot of good artwork to my site- so I'll brownie up and say I have a positive opinion of the guy...

that being said, if it were me running the depth chart, there wouldn't be an open slot for big bad Stalberg to compete for... so I suppose it is all a moot point.

Something we agree on. :troll:

Don't think :troll: works there.

Anyway, somebody pull up Stalberg's stats and tell me where he ranked out of all Blackhawks in some basic categories.

he doesnt belong in the nhl on a team that wants to contend year in and year out for a cup. skates straight fast, but lacks agility and hands.

doesnt speed skating have turns? if so, he cant do that either because he can only skate straight.
