NBA sources tell us the Bulls are one of the most aggressive teams in the NBA trade market as they try to find a scoring guard who is a good fit with All-Star point Derrick Rose.

USC coach Kevin O'Neill, a longtime college head coach and NBA assistant has experience with Stephen Jackson and O.J. Mayo, both of whom reportedly on the Bulls radar.

Stephen Jackson and OJ Mayo on Chicago Bulls radar | I am a GM

I would love to have either of these guys. They are both gamers. OJ is a very good defender, would fit right into Thibs system.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
OJ Mayo would be nice, but he's not going to be acquired for what we're giving up. Plus he's going to want a big contract and a big role on this team, neither of which I can see him getting. But he's still my top choice between all the names I've heard. I agree with Doug, I just don't think we're getting anyone.

my number 1 choice is affallo. if we can get it done for 2 first round picks, i'm all for it. i dont think it will. he's a good player, that's on the last year of his contract. If we offer him a large contract or the mle next year, we might able to.

Bulls can't be cheap especially when they are trying to get past teams like the Celtics, Heat and Magics

Mayo is extremely talented and still very young, he is still improving as a player, I don't think the Bulls should be concerned about paying him, if he comes and plays well then they have to PAY HIM! You have to spend money to win championships, IMO the whole "ROLE PLAYER" stuff is OVER AND DONE! You can win with multiple star players as long as you have the right coach and the Heat is proving that as much as nobody wants to admit it, those 3 are clicking now and ALL OF THEM are still getting their stats, I personally don't like Rose trying to Score 25-30 PPG or what ever, I would rather him average 20-25 PPG and get more ASSIST and improve his defense instead of just trying to depend on him to carry the team by himself every night, some people seem to want Rose to get MVP more then they care about us actually WINNING, to hell with that MVP I would rather see the Bulls get pass the Celtics, Magics and Heat instead of Rose winning MVP and we get eliminated by one of those teams

bottom line is I don't think we should PASS ON GOOD PLAYERS just to avoid having to pay them

I agree mayo is a perfect fit here in chicago. He plays good D like you've mentioned. He is a young guy on the rise. He really doesn't have many opportunities to score in memphis with *** randolph and gasol. He'll really shine here I believe. If only there was a way of geting Mayo and keeping Taj. Wow that's the dream

I forgot about Afflalo. He'd be great too. Plus he's a lot cheaper than Mayo and more willing to accept the role player role.

IA. if they really want to be that elite team we want them to be they really need another very good player. If OJ happens to blossom for the Bulls then we have found a jackpot. We really have enough role players for this team it's time to add another explosive player who can help on offense so that Drose can concentrate on playing as a PG.

Is it just me or would Martell Webster be good here next to Rose. We could probably pick him up for JJ and Bogans and a 2nd. His last year is unguranteed and he'd only be making MLE money this year and next. I'd hate to give up a first or taj for a marginal upgrade in JR or a old guy like Jackson. We'd finally get Bogans out of the starting lineup, have Webster and Korver for shooting and Brewer for D. Webster seems like a good fit since he is athletic enough to take advantage of Rose's oppurtunities and his D is ok.

he would look pretty great. the only problem is he's a bit slow to guard the 2. i think he's 230lbs. a 230lb 6-7 2 guard isn't going to be great defensively. He's a catch and shoot player on 2k11(it's a joke). the only issue is, i'm not sure the last healthy season he's had.
