The Bulls should sign him this summer to be Rose's substitute until Rose comes back midway through next season.
And keep him from signing in Miam while bringing in a good pointguard who deserves a ring.

Steve Nash is like 40 years old and will be looking to play with a contender to finally get a ring before he rides off into the sunset.
It won't be about the money, plus no one is going to invest a lot of money onto a guy that will retire in a year or so...HE WON'T COST MAJOR MONEY AND WE GET A HELL OF A BARGAIN.
Nash still can play and we are going to need a primary ball handler for probably half of next season and when Rose returns its going to take a lot of time for him to get somewhat back to normal.
What better replacement for Rose than 2x mvp & future hall of famer Steve Nash...
He's just missing 1 thing, a ring....Other than Miami, Chicago would have to be #1 on his list, especially with Rose out..
Plus I hate the Heat, and I don't want to hate Nash because he's too good of a guy.

Even if we have the money and he wants to sign with a contender:

Why would he choose the Bulls over the Heat where he would start 4 sure?

Why wouldn't he be allowed to start on the Bulls?
Rose won't be playing, and when he returns, Rose may have to come off the bench for a while.....When Rose is able to start again, Nash can be the perfect back up for Rose.

The guy with the second most assists last season won´t come off the bench. Not happening in my opinion.

Don´t get me wrong, if it happens I´m happy. I just don´t see it!

Jesus, that would be great to see Nashy in a Bulls uni. I think he would be ok w/ starting the season off in the S-5 & then getting some decent PT once D-Rose returns. It's not like he wouldn't be playing. Chicago could keep Rose fresher for the playoffs if Nash wants to play more.

Bulls would have to cut JL3 & CJ probably so they could afford him.

I don't see this happening. No way he chooses us over Miami.

Nothing wrong with an NBA player wanting to play in Miami. If he wants to win...what would be a better fit for him? He could go to Dallas but they might get Deron Williams. The Lakers? That might work. Miami would be the best fit for him to get a ring.

This makes zero sense. Lose respect for taking less to win I dont get it. Nash is 38 it is time for him to go chase a ring all the greats do it look at Karl Malone Gary Payton ect. I would be disappointed if he didnt chase a ring.

Personally I hope he joins the Pacers probably not gonna happen but with him we are a championship quality team pg is our huge weakness. Getting Nash would make the whole team better which currently our pgs don't do.

Too old, too slow and too close to the end.

I wouldn't mind Nash at all. I'd much rather have him running the offense than Watson or Lucas.

But I don't think it'll happen. 1 reason is because he said earlier this season that he would want to sign a 3 year deal this off-season. Assuming Rose comes back 100%, there's no way he would wanna be here for 2-3 years and be Rose's back-up for most of the time when he could be starting full time in Miami.

Why they can't play together? It would require a little adjustments but it can be done for shure!

Yeah. let's offer Nash the vet-minimum and tell him that he won't be a starter in the playoffs, but he can maybe help us beat the heat.

brilliant. should work perfectly.

LOL did you watch him play this year????

He was probably the best pg in the league outside of CP3 he single handily got the Suns into the playoffs picture which was amazing I though the Suns had 0 chance and they missed by only a game.
