STH Party on the 21st

This really sounds like the old STH party at the UC. Although it's a "season road watch party" most of the things look very similar.

Wife and I will be there and skating for a change this year.

Feb 21st....

I'm skating at 8:30, but the game doesn't come on until 1pm. This will be the first one of these I've attended, so unless its an out of this world experience, I might just skate and go home.

For those of you who have gone in the past, is the game enjoyable watching on the jumbotron? Or is it one big gimmick? I mean, filling 4 hours is hard to do. Will they let me come, skate, go home, and then return for the game? I live within walking distance of the UC.

Might want to call your rep and check that out. She emailed me yesterday asking what time we wanted to skate.

I've never watched a game on the Jumbo tron either, but the other activities sure sounded like the old STH parties.

When they had it there the last time, we sat center ice and the game was fine on the jumbo tron.

Can't make it this year, I'll be working.

Watching the game on the Jumbotron is cool and they make it like a home game, if the Hawks score the horn blows and Chelsea Dagger starts playing. This does look similar to the old STH party sans the free food.

Wish they could have picked a better date because I'm sure there are many working stiffs like myself that don't automaticaly get Presidents Day off. Luckily Monday is my scheduled day off so I'll be there.

We have a youth tournament in the morning and hopefully finals around 1 pm.

Chose the very last skating session so even if we get there last minute my son can skate on UC ice.

We've skated just about everywhere else this year; why not the UC.

While not 100% confirmed (will know tomorrow), but it looks like we will not be able to make the road watch at the UC on Monday. We have two tickets with two skating passes at like 12:15 or something like that. So if anyone is interested to be on my "waiting list" for the two tickets, please PM me.

We will not be attending this year.

We gave our tickets to a die hard fan.
