This will be a space for us to call out stocks. If you are interested in a stock, we can chart it here and discuss what a good entry/exit point is.

This is in no way meant to take away from the Stock Market Thread that has great discussion. My hope is that this thread generates technical discussion about individual stocks.

Let's go Weed for my first call out.

Tilray, Inc.

ticker symbol TLRY
current price $31.81
Entry price $33.60
Exit price to be determined.

Tilray is a pot stock. They are global. I like that. think big. Don't buy the orange when you can buy the orange tree. the entire sector is still fairly young and this stock is only 16.26% held by institutions. That's major room for growth there. The stock still has 27% short interest but I have noticed that is a falling figure and will help stabilize this stock.
Why I like it?
TLRY just shot up and got beat the **** down. That drop yesterday took the stock back to reasonable levels and the same price levels it was at before it went apeshit. You can be safe buying here without too much of a drop.

I set the entry at $33.60 because that is the price it will cross over the SMA(simple moving average) on a 20 day chart. it should do some nice running from there.

good luck!

Absolutely not. Go for it right now. That stock has a very positive trajectory. 10.00 off ATH. Buy now.

I like this long term too. Buy and hold.

Note: Aphria (APHA) is buying Tilray, but will trade under the Tilray name once the merger is done. Owners of APHA stock will get 0.83 shares of Tilray when the deal goes through.

ALPP is down 10% today. One of my favorite stocks. Drone company. Has contracts with USAF, Apple and Tesla. Going to up-list to NASDAQ as soon as next week. Hit 9.50 this week. I think it's a steal here at 7.30ish. Double digits next week imo.

Favorite since November? This is a penny stock no? A investment company?? Invested in Vayu(the drone company).
I'd have to do more research, but it seems way overvalued for a company that hopes to have 37 million in revenue for 2021.
Too new for me. This was trading at 3 cents less than 3 months ago. Hard pass.

Can I ask why you love them?

Here's one: Blackberry (BB)

I've noticed all over Reddit, there are a lot of posts with long winded due diligence reports attempting to say how great Blackberry stock is going to be. It was for a short time part of the GME pump and thus went up really high really fast, but has no come back down to more realistic levels. Every day there is someone new talking about how great of a company this is and how this is a good long term buy.

Opinion on it?

My personal opinion? It's a meme stock. It was LOL worthy bad before the madness last month. If anything is pumped enough, there is enough money to re-invest in itself and re-invent....I guess???
With so many better choices? Just stay away. This company doesn't even make phones any longer. Cyber Security and "the Internet of Things" now? No thanks. IMO, If you're in, get out now and if you love their new story and where you think they are headed, wait for all this dust to settle and buy in for $3.50- $4.50 range which is what they are worth according to actual numbers and not hype.

I've said it in the stock thread, but a "weed" stock I'm currently looking at is HYFM. Reason I like it is it isn't wholly dependent on the weed market, but they are the leader in soil-less growing equipment and could be huge if it does become legalized. Just went public a couple months ago. I knew nothing about it until a week or so ago so I'm still looking into it more, but this is one I'm looking to buy and hold long term.

Favorite since early December-ish. Holding company. Like i said, they're working on uplisting. This is a pretty popular stock and it'll just bring more attention to it from people who usually don't eye anything below the Nasdaq. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1606698/000109690621000187/alpp_s3.htm

I like that they're not only involved in ev drone tech, which should only grow. I know Trump places a ban on China manufactured drones(Ehong?) a couple months ago, which only helps US manufacturers. I dont know how Biden will move forward with this. Spencer Gore is a former engineer for Tesla who is the CEO of Impossible Aurospace, an Alpp acquisition.

I like they're involved with blockchain

Sorry, ive spent the past hour looking for this great DD thread i was reading through a while back but im having trouble finding it. Above is what i can give you from the top. Long story short, i really like that they're diversified in their tech acquisitions, the people involved and the contracts they currently hold. Idk if this thread was meant for any long term holds. I've been in since around 1.07ish and have sold most of my shares but ive got a few hundred im gonna ride out to see where this takes me. But like i said, the uplisting+ the kind of cult following this has should easily push this to $10 soon, especially when WeBull investors can get in on the action. Someone looking to make a few bucks swinging it might benefit.

Link to their recent shareholder meeting if you actually wanted to do some DD.
