Suggestion for the site

Just a suggestion... would anybody go against a shoutbox of some sort? I'm new around here so I don't know if its been discussed already but other sites I have been on use one and people seem to really like it.

Like a little chat box that goes at the top of the page. Its a direct chat, like for example if you go to otsports.us (Not advertising) You can see the shoutbox at the top where people that are currently online chat.
