Now that CCS is new and improved, can we bring back the old rep system? This one hardlocks your rep/new power at 25 rep points, which is simply absurd.. Back in the day it used to scale infinitely with your rep points, afaik. Then it was changed to 150 cap (?) i believe. Then it was further reduced to a cap of 25.

With the more lenient policies in place, i say we just lift the cap all together. Right back to the disliking/repping glory days. Please? Literally no one is against this, i promise...

It's also very limited on how you can distribute Rep due to "Thanks" counting against your ability to rep. I had just under a dozen posters pm me last night who wanted to Pos Rep me for my #calledit on the passing game but were not able to due to (in my theory) them thanking so many posts they had no ability to Rep. It stinks when people can't support quality posts with Rep when it's much more meaningful than "Thanks."

With all these clean slate rebirths, if they revert to the old rep ways, should we all not start with a clean slated single blue bar?

Reputation should work both ways otherwise what is the point of the rep system at all. It's supposed to be a positive and negative scale. Right now it's only a positive scale.

Pretty participation trophy-esque, if you ask me.

It would definitely help the site self-moderate. I still think they should also give you unlimited repping ability. The scenario I referenced above just accounts for a baker's dozen that I'm actually aware of. Think about how many posters did NOT DM me to tell me they wished they could Pos Rep me...

I imagine @Grimson probably has the same thing going on - that is a LOT of rep points we both missed out on.

Right?

It's so discouraging sometimes that I think maybe I'll just stop posting my #calledits, maybe stop posting altogether because really when it comes down to messageboarding, isn't it all about the #calledits anyways?

Bottom line, I should have a lot more flacons than I currently have and more than what most posters have.

Yes, he had an award winning performance yesterday, so many baseless accusations of deleting negative Trubisky posts.

But your hover note says you have much to be proud of. Mine only says I'm a name known to all, which is a falsehood.

Mine says I have a brilliant future, but it's 2018, the future is now.

@Rush do the right thing please

I would help get yours upgraded, but currently that means I wouldn't be able to "Thanks" people's posts so that other people can jump to conclusions about what sort of things I'm agreeing with or finding helpful. It's just not a good system right now IMO.

I think this is an excellent suggestion. However, I'm going to vote no. There are a gaggle of CCS posters that would get goosed a little too hard on their rumpus if this was allowed. Too many sensitive little baby boys posting here. I think it's fine how it is.

Just curious, how many people pos repped you last night or pmd you to let you know they wanted to but couldn't? Trying to get a handle on the current system's shortcomings...

By my swift tally, I was "thanked" 97 times yesterday and received 5 positive reps and 1 negative rep.

Only two DM "raincheques" citing their rep cannon was on cooldown.

Very true. So maybe tardigrade should be able to keep all his massive rep.

tardigrade is a liar.

He convinced me he was a doctor.

Turns out he is in fact NOT, a doctor.
