Well, that accounts for all the drama infused into the sport lately.
Its getting sickening. Goodell has turned football into a Disney movie. Every year I get less and less excited for the upcoming season. 5 more years of Goodell, and the sport will be so unrecognizable they may as well change the name...
Hi ho, hi ho...it's off the charts we go...with daytime drama that is. I don't care about these players personal bullshit, seems like the actual games are now sideshows.
30 years ago we had fun with it, players drinking cases of beer in one sitting was no big deal...mainly b/c they rarely got into trouble.
As for the ads, I've seen a few...Budweiser does a nice job selling shitty beer via puppies. And then there's the NFL dad ads, nice but do we really want to get all sentimental during a game?...**** no. We want to drink and be entertained, which is the reason we all watch sports to begin with. It's a healthy distraction from the constant real life drama we all experience.
So the ads suck as well.
My apologies to any ladies who are reading(if we even have any
). It was not my intention of belittling or degrading in any way, the previous comment was referencing rule changes. Women are less apt to notice this, due to fewer playing the game as opposed to men.
